We ARE getting a playground!
New Chelsea Family,
In partnership with Foresters Insurance and KABOOM! New Chelsea Elementary will be building a community playground on school grounds in JUNE 2015-THIS SUMMER! This is the result of many fundraising projects, parent volunteer contributions, and staff dedication. We are very excited!
There will be many opportunities to volunteer between now and June, so please continue to check this website, the phone/text message blast, and your child(ren)'s take home folder, too!
Please enjoy your Spring Break with your children as there is no school next week! Students return to school on Monday, March 23rd. We know they will continue reading each day over Spring Break! Make it more comfortable and enjoyable by offering outside reading spaces, visiting a public library, and even just listening to your child(ren) read out loud.
Finally, please encourage all fellow parents to subscribe to our new website. We will keep it updated with calendar events, pictures, and important information.
